Questions, comments, or have a legislative idea? We want to hear from you! Several legislative ideas shared with us through the people we serve have become bills in Ohio’s General Assembly. I visited with a school bus driver who informed me some listed sexual predators on her bus route did not have visible house numbers listed on the exterior of their home. This made it difficult for her to identify exactly where children should be dropped-off/picked-up safely along her route. In another example, a gentleman suggested we use e-verify in all state awarded contracts/sub-contracts to make sure tax dollars spent in these jobs are filled by legal citizens.
These two examples made sense to me and became bills in our General Assembly, but that’s only half the story. Other folks just need the current state government to work with them.
