DAVE BURKE ANNOUCES HE IS RUNNING FOR ELECTION IN OHIO'S 26th SENATE DISTRICT
Columbus – State Senator Dave Burke (R-Marysville) has filed his petitions and announced he is running for election for Ohio's 26th Senate District.
"It is a privilege to represent the people of Ohio's 26th Senate District." Burke said. "I am humbled to be given this opportunity to serve our state and I will continue to work hard to bring jobs back and return prosperity to Ohio families. Much work remains to be done and I am running to keep the Senate seat to continue my efforts to get Ohio back on track."
Senator Burke plans to continue addressing the difficult issues of jobs, drug abuse, the Ohio economy and reducing state spending.
While serving in the Senate, Burke also works in the private sector as a pharmacist and small business owner. He has also served as State Representative for the 83rd House District from January 2009 until July 2011.
Senator Burke has been married for over twenty years to his wife Donna. They reside in Marysville and are the proud parents Alexandra (13) and Adam (8).
